BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

House adjoining churchyard, Lustleigh

The dial is on the end wall of a former church house that adjoins the churchyard. It has upright Roman hour numerals for 8am to 5pm, unusually running from VIII - XII - XVII. The hours are not subdivided, and it appears that the longitude correction is applied so that it shows Greenwich solar time. There are two declination curves, probably the solstices, with a knob nodus at the tip of the gnomon. Below the dial face is a golden crown, then ’MCMLII MMXII’ around a floral design. Under that is inscribed ’Placed to commemorate / the Diamond Jubilee / of Queen Elizabeth II’.
