BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lancashire

The dial is set into the wall above central French windows. It shows 9am to 8pm, divided to half hours. It has seasonal date curves, with appropriate Zodiac signs, the tip of the gnomon acting as nodus, and a horizontal Sunset line as dots with a sinking sun symbol. The date 2007 (completion of the barn conversion) is in the upper left quadrant, and the owners’ initials ECS & HIS are in the lower right quadrant. Higher resolution photos requested.
