BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is set in the end wall of the house, which is of local stone. It shows 9am to 6pm in Roman numerals, with no subdivisions. At the top is ’Tempus Fugit’ plus in small letters, one above the other, N S. The centre panel, vertically, has ’S B H’ plus some small letters, either initials or a date. Hour markings and all lettering are in ’boxes’ and are carved in relief. Higher resolution photos requested.
