BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Trelavour Prazey, St Dennis

The St Dennis Millennium Sundial is located by the B3279 at the corner of Rectory Road and Wellington Road. The condition in 2016 was excellent apart from the gnomon being loose. The dial plate is the top of a cylindrical column, which itself sits on a much larger inclining circle of polished granite bearing a plaque representing the Church, Music, China Clay Industry and the Flag of St Piran. The entire structure is the ‘Sundial’. The dial face is inscribed directly into the granite. It has Roman hour numerals read from the intended gnomon toe position, though the gnomon is raised above the plate and so the ’shadow’ toe is located south of its correct location.
