BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is on the west side of Kingsclere Road (B3051), just north of St Mary’s Churchyard. Hours are marked with Arabic numerals on wood blocks, approx 250 square, in an outer ellipse for GMT (7am to 6pm) and an inner for BST (6am to 9pm). A display board gives instructions for use.
