BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Luton Hoo Walled Garden, Luton

The dial is in the north half of the walled garden. It was designed to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Lord Bute’s birth in 1713. Roman numerals IX - XII - IV - VIII, on light square stones, and dark stone date scale, all sunk in gravel. All information and photo from the web. More information and photos requested.
