BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Michael’s Church, Bassaleg

The dial is over the south porch. It has upright hour numerals, incised and black-filled, VI - XII - IV - VI, with black hour lines to a semicircle around the gnomon root, and no subdivisions. The bar gnomon has one ’C’ shaped support. The dial plate is capped with a red scalloped strip of lead or plastic. Web photo only. More information and photos requested.
