BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Avebury Manor [NT] (1), Avebury

The dial is on the lawn to the south side of the house. It is a six-ring armillary sphere, with meridian, horizon, ecliptic and equinoctial rings, and polar ring at least at the south (north not visible in the photos). It is mounted on an elaborate short pedestal in the form of a Corinthian capital. A photo appeared in Country Life dated 1921 showing a horizontal dial in the same area, so this would seem to be a replacement.
