BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Deanbrae House, Dean

The dial is on the corner of a building at the west end of Bells Brae, at the junction with Queensferry Street. It is just below, and partly covered by, the cube dial SRN 8020. It declines slightly to the west, and has upright Arabic numerals of which 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 are still visible, with no subdivisions. It has long hour lines to a small semicircle around the gnomon root. There was possibly some inscription across the top of the dial, no longer decipherable.
