BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Cleeve House, Seend

The dial is some 6 m above ground level on a stone chimney breast at the west end of the building. It is canted out on the left hand side but still declines to the west. Carved pale stone, lead inserts (lines & numbers), paint/whitewash. The dial shows IX - XII - IIII - VI in upright numerals, divided to 30 and 15 minutes. The gnomon is bronze, with a stable tarnish. The dial is inside an ornamental compartment, with the date above, and images of cockerel, sun, owl and foliage below.
