BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Manchester Cathedral, Manchester

The dial stands in a square flower bed in grass to the south side of the cathedral. The gnomon is broken, leaving only a stub of the style and the base of a decorative support. The plate appears to be complete but we have no details of inscriptions. The pedestal is circular bottle shaped with square base and dial stone.
