BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Sussex (E)

A dial from Haddonstone. Numerals IV - XII - IIII - VIII, with noon gap wider than the underslung gnomon, and incorrect delineation on each side. Hour lines, and 30 and 15 minute divisions. In the centre an elaborate sun face. At the south, a small 8-point compass rose, labelled only to N etc. The pedestal is formed from three cherubs standing on a short square stone mount.
