BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Rock Gardens, Hinckley

The dial stands on an ornamental wrought iron pedestal in the ’Sunken Garden’ area. Originally plates were fitted to the sides of the structure with images drawn by local children, but they are no longer in place. The dial is a two-half-ring armillary sphere with a plain rod gnomon. No hour numerals or other markings are now visible.
