BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Cemetery, Castle Donington

The structure forms the central feature of the Garden of Remembrance. The dial is mounted on a low 6-sided stone plinth on a stepped base, at the centre of an enclosed 6-sided flower enclosure. It is a three-ring armillary sphere with an arrow gnomon, and is supported by a metal sea-horse sculpture. The hour ring appears to be of copper, with embossed Arabic numerals running to 8pm, and dots for half hours.
