BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Leics & Rutland

The dial is by the side of the ’Garden of Rest’, mounted on a circular sectioned fluted plinth with floral ornamentation above and below the fluting. It is a garden centre dial with hours IV - XII - IV - VIII read from outside, and no hour lines or subdivisions. There is an 8-point compass rose in the centre, labelled to NE etc. The brass gnomon is a short rod with one curved support.
