BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Leics & Rutland

The dial is mounted on a squat, square sectioned baluster style pedestal, in gardens immediately to the left hand side of the south porch. A motto ’Misspend no time’ is at the south of the dial plate, read from the south. Aligned numerals IV - XII - IV - VIII, read from inside, with a noon gap and hour lines to the outer of a pair of central circles, and divided to half and quarter hours. The gnomon is mounted on a flat rectangular plate and fixed by two screws. A plate on the squat square-sectioned baluster plinth standing by the wall to the left of the south porch commemorates two people, who d 1947 and 1962.
