BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Broughton

The dial plate is held against the face of the tower with iron dog nails, at the upper edge of the herring-bone pattern stone walls. It has upright hour numerals VI - XII - IV - VI, with half length hour lines, triple-dot half hour lines, and quarter hour marks. The gnomon is missing. At the upper edge of the dial the bordering line is arched upwards to the edge of the stone dial plate.
