BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hereford & Worcester

This dial was formerly in the town centre but was moved to its present position in 2016. It stands on a square section stone plinth 830 high, with ’Tempus / Fugit’ on S & E faces, and ’Carpe / Diem’ on N & W faces. On the S face of the capital is ’MMXVI’. The dial is simple, with a riveted gnomon. Hours are IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, read from inside, with hour lines from a circle around the gnomon root and no divisions.
