BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Barnsdale Lodge Hotel, Exton

A ’Garden Centre’ dial, wrongly aligned and heavily shaded by four large conifers. It has hours IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, read from the outside, and divided to 30 and 15 minutes. The VI - VI lines are not collinear. Smiling sun face over rocks or sea. It is mounted on a baluster pedestal with a large octagonal top stone.
