BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lincolnshire

The dial is private but is visible from the adjacent ’Brumby Hall Public Sports Grounds’. It is set into the brickwork of the porch, above the entrance doorway. Upright hour numerals VI - noon - IIII - VI, with a cross for noon. Hour lines to a small semicircle, and half hour marks. Ornamental scrolls to the top edge of the dial plate. The plate appears to have been over-painted in grey, to match the quoin stones on the porch corners. Ref: Arthur Mee, King’s England, Lincolnshire.
