BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Yorkshire (N)

The dial is mounted on a large stone block on the Green by the side of the B1264 road. It has hours V - XII - IIII - VII, read from inside, with noon gap and divided to 30, 15 and 3 minutes. There is a 16-point compass rose at the centre, labelled to NNE etc, and an EOT graph at the south side. It is inscribed ’Tony Moss - Lindisfarne Sundials - Bedlington’. The latitude 54 28 52 and the longitude 2 23 39 are marked within the chapter ring.
