BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lincolnshire

The dial plate is set into the octagonal stone top mounted on an octagonal plinth shaft on a one step base. The stone top has a small plate inscribed ’Presented by E and J Peacock, 1964’. Hour numerals IV - XII - IV - VIII, read from outside, with noon gap (for a missing gnomon) and divided to 15 and 30 minutes. There is a large 8-point compass labelled to NE etc. The dial is close to the south doorway of the church.
