BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Private House, Sutton Poyntz

The dial is at first floor level on the white stone south wall of the house, facing the street. It is carved into a thick stone block with a small supporting corbel. Across the top is ’Lifes but a Shadow’. Upright Arabic numerals 6am to 6pm. Hour lines to a central sun face, and short half hour lines. All furniture filled in lead.
