BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is in a gable on the SW facing side of the house. Despite its apparent age it seems to be delineated to show BST, with 1pm on the vertical. However the delineation is questionable as the horizontal shows 7am and 8pm. Upright Roman numerals are used, with IIII and XII, and no subdivisions. There is space above the horizon line for an inscription but nothing can now be seen there. On each side of the dial is a full height carving of an hour glass. The gnomon is an iron bar with curlicue support, the substyle at about 4:30 pm which (calling this 3:30 GMT) indicates a declination of about 45° west.
