BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
This is a large heavily eroded sandstone or slate dial. All that remains visible is a small section of the chapter ring with Roman numerals. The bronze gnomon is of the ’double horizontal’ style, but clearly this is not such a dial. It stands on a short weathered cylindrical pedestal.
