BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

This is a widely seen design, with underslung gnomon and motto ’Make time, save time. While time lasts. All time is no time. When time is past’. Hours are IV - XII - IIII - VIII, read from inside, divided to 30, 10 and 5 minutes, the tens labelled in Arabic numerals. The alignment may be slightly out. There is a small compass to the south of the dial, and a ’Green Man’? face at the centre. There is a plain square limestone pedestal with a memorial plaque on the west face.
