BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

1 Castle Approach, Broughty Ferry

Large horizontal dial direct on the end of the harbour breakwater, known as the WIND DIAL. Plaque stating "Donated by Broughty Ferry Arts Society with assistance from ’Awards for All’ and Dundee City Council March 2006". Aluminium? In the shape of a sail. Arabic numerals in the form of the 24 hour clock, even numbers only from 04:00 to 20:00.
