BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Sundial Cottage, Clifton

An arch-headed dial plate of light stone, with a thin bar gnomon supported by a double curlicue. It is mounted between first-floor windows overlooking the road, declining 43 deg west of south. In the arch is ’I have the time’, and the date 1783. Upright hour numerals IX - XII - IIII - VIII, divided to half and quarter hours. Details from web photos; more info and photos requested.
