BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

This circular dial stands on a low pedestal. The gnomon root is in the centre, with radial Arabic hour numerals for 6am to 6pm around the northern circumference, and ’Night is just a shadow’ around the southern rim, all read from outside. The dialplate is blue, with numerals gilded, as are irregular square-ended rays filling the southern half. The gnomon is a thin unsupported bar. Details are from web photos; more info and photos requested.
