BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Campbell Park, Milton Keynes

This is a large unpainted three-ring armillary sphere, resting directly on the ground, with a plaque on the ground at the centre, inscribed ’Midsummer Housing Association 1995’. The date (MCMXCV 1995) and the hours (Roman numerals for GMT and BST, with ten minute intervals) are cut into a broad equatorial band. The whole stands at the centre of a large circle of concentric rings of paving setts. The dial was put in place in 1995 to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the Midsummer Housing Association in Milton Keynes.
