Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial plate is a transverse oval, and has been mounted ar first floor level hiding the circular centre of an attractively carved square stone plate. It is designed for a declination of about 12 deg west, but now faces a few deg north of east. It has upright Arabic numerals for 7am to 6pm, divided to quarters. The building is dated 1741 and was once an old coaching inn.
