BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Market Place, Tattershall

The dial is at the centre of a seating area on the Market Place Green. A plate notes that it celebrates the Millennium. It is in the form of an irregular spiral surface and a rod with spirally formed top. The rod appears to be too steeply inclined to be a proper gnomon Six wide black bands are painted on the inside surface of the strip but no hour numbers are indicated.
