BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Tetford

The slate dial is secured with four screws to what appears to be a stone slab fixed to the stonework above the south porch doorway. Across the bottom is the motto ’Redeeming the time / because the days are evil’ (Ephesians 5:16). Upright numerals VII - XII - IIII - VI, with a gnomon gap, Hour lines to a flaming sun face around the gnomon root, and short half hour lines with small arrow heads.
