BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial plate is a substantial block supported on two stone corbels below the clerestory windows on the south side of the chapel. The chapter ring is shield shaped, with aligned numerals VI - XII - IV - V, divided to 30, 15 and 5 minutes. Across the centre is ’A D 1773’ and at the base ’Mount Zion’. The slender bar gnomon has a shaped tip and a multiple curlicue support. Ref: http://www.mountzionhalifax.org.uk/Sundial.php
