BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

This 8-ring armillary sphere is in the front garden to the right of the entrance path, standing on a square stone pedestal. It can be seen on NGS Open Days. It bears quotations from Samuel Beckett and Kahil Gibran, as well as various cities and directions.
