BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Oxford Island, Lurgan

Oxford Island is a peninsula on the southern end of Lough Neagh, artificially created in 1846 by lowering the level of the water in the lake. This large dial is delineated in BST with hour markers for 6am to 9pm, the markers being square section granite columns with inclined tops and decorative carvings on the sides. The ellipse of the dial plate is filled with cobblestones set in concrete. The gnomon plate is inscribed with an analemma with months marked, and detailed instructions for use are given on a board to the south of the dial. Hour lines are formed by darker cobblestones.
