BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Swithin’s Cemetery, Lincoln

Access is limited to the normal opening hours of the cemetery. The dial is fitted to a stone top, 381 square, on a worn square sectioned plinth. It is a garden centre type plate with motto ’Sunny Hours’ and the gnomon is missing. Hours IIII - XII - IIII - VIII divided to 30, 15 and 7.5 minutes. The centre is filled with a smiling face, with 8 compass points shown.
