BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

This circular dial is engraved directly into the surface of the octagonal stone top-plate of the plinth. The stone is badly eroded but some Roman hour numerals remain. The gnomon is missing. The vertical faces of the top stone are engraved with some words still visible - ’Memories’ and ’I count only sunny hours’.
