BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Staffordshire

This dial and its new pedestal replace SRN 7254, which was itself a replacement for an earlier vandalised dial. It is inscribed with its location around the south edge. It shows hours V - XII - IIII - VII, read from inside, with a noon gap for the (already missing) gnomon, and divided to half and quarter hours. It is mounted on an octagonal sectioned plinth on a two-stepped octagonal base. The lower step is the original one from SRN 7254.
