BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Highgate Cemetery (West), Camden

The dial is located in the NW area of the cemetery, section XI, on grave No 37948/19. Access is restricted to conducted tours. It has not been visited yet, and these photos are from the Friends of the Cemetery. The dial plare is a stone disc with a variant of egg-and-dart moulding around the edges, sitting at the centre of a horizontal Celtic cross. It has numerals V - XII - IIII - Vii, read from outside and divided to half and quarter hours. The gnomon is missing but was substantial, and pierced to leave the form of a cross in the body, and a noon gap allowed for its thickness. At the south, read from the north, is the motto ’Watch!’.
