BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

A simple dial clearly delineated, on an octagonal sectioned baluster style plinth. The grave slab is cracked, causing the plinth to have subsuded. There is an eight-point compass rose at the centre of the dial plate, labelled to NE etc. Hours IIII - XII - IIII - VIII are read from the outside, with a noon gap, and divided to 30, 15 and 5 minutes.
