BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

A simple reproduction dial with motto ’Let others tell of storms and showers, I’ll only count your sunny hours’, and a false date of 1767. It stands in a rose loggia adjacent to the cemetery buildings. The plinth is a circular sectioned stone baluster. Arabic hour numerals 4 - 12 - 8, read from outside, and divided to 30, 15 and 7.5 minutes. There is an 8-point compass rose in the centre, marked to the cardinal points.
