BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Saints Church, Normanton

The dial was restored in 2011 and is retained loose within the church by the modern altar on a dais. The original fixture points are still extant above porch door. It is crudely painted goldish, with hour lines against a white background and numerals against a black background. The spacing of the lines is questionable. It shows 8am. To 4pm in Roman numerals (4pm as IIII), the hours being marked in half hour intervals. The gnomon is very ornate, corroded ferrous and bent, probably as a result of vandalism.
