BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Tylney Hall, Hook

The pedestal is square sectioned. On the east side (and probably all sides) is a demon head (green man?) with two forked tongues, and swags of foliage below. The dial is a widely found desigh with thin underslung gnomon and over-sized noon gap, probably replacing an earlier good dial on this pedestal. Motto ’Make time save time. While time lasts. All time is no time. When time is past’. Numerals read from the inside IV - XII - IIII - VIII.
