BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Austins Wood, North Burlingham

This dial of black granite and stainless steel was designed and delineated by David Payne, and manufactured by Abbey Memorials. It forms part of a new Sundial Trail. It has dials on the N, S, E and W faces, and a horizontal dial on the top. The horizontal has upright Arabic hour numerals for 3am to 9pm, divided to 15 minutes, with hour lines to a small semicircle around the gnomon root. The gnomons are solid sheets. The south face is inscribed ’TAKE 5’ across the bottom, and the north face ’SPRING AND SUMMER ONLY’ across the top.
