BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Broughton Poggs Mill, Broughton Poggs

The dial is in the centre of a bowl of circulating water, resting on a gravel bed in the lawn. It is delineated with Roman numerals from 5am to 7pm, divided to half hours, and has solstice and equinox lines. Being of polished stainless steel it is almost impossible to read the shadow of the gnomon tip.
