BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
This 5-ring armillary sphere is in a rose garden by the house, mounted on the same baluster pedestal as previously used for SRN 5381. Around the horizon ring ’In the gardens of happy memories it is always summer’, and inside the equatorial ring ’Ilmington Manor Latitude North 52 05 13 / Longitude West 001 41 17’ and ’D. Harber / Henley on Thames / Oxfordshire / MCMXCIX’.
