BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

High Street (2), Stanton

The dial stands to the east of Burland Hall, in the rear garden, by a raised garden wall. It is on a rough hewn square-section limestone pillar, about 900 high. It is a ’garden-centre’ dial with the motto ’Sunny Hours’, and an 8-point compass star.
