BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

3-4 Church Row, Wandsworth

The dial is set into an arched-top recess of the brickwork, between the windows of second storey level, at the central aspect of the building. There is a projecting cill below the dial recess. The dial is well painted in gilt on a black background, with ’Vigilate et Orate’ across the top and ’A. D. 1723’ at the bottom. Numerals I - IV - VIII are marked with full length hour lines in a central circular dial area, and divided to half and quarter hours. Fern decoration is used in the spandrels. The dial declines strongly west. The gnomon is correspondingly of a very shallow angle, but it is mounted too close to the plate so that it will not be able to give an accurate time.
