BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is fitted to the brickwork between the two upper windows of the property, and is easily visible from the pavement. Across the top in embossed lettering is: ’Pereunt et’, and across the bottom: ’Imputantur’. Upright numerals, also embossed, are VI - XII - IIII - V with hour lines, shorter half hour lines with inward-pointing arrow heads, and quarter hour marks. The border is ornamented with rhombic forms (two triangles), with floral decor in the corners. The dial is illustrated in Henson, ’Ye Sundial Booke’, p 374, and is there given the date 1850 which we have used.
